Same guy as https://lemmy.world/u/MacedWindow
What is wormhole style?
Ok thank you that helps a lot! Looking forward to exploring the underdark for the first time
When you get a text from your DM after the session saying “I forgot to mention you guys leveled up”
I just like hulking creatures tbh

Keeping it vague I left 2 different party members at camp for their subplots and I still have them both. There was some minor griping “wish I could have been there” type stuff but nothing beyond that.
I almost did the same to get eldritch blast as I thought my bard needed an every turn spell to cast. In my experience you are only a few levels away from having enough spell slots to make the problem go away. Also as a bard you will get the option to take a couple spells from any class which shoukd help round you out.
I think this is my favorite comic you’ve done. Trying everything in the toolbox is very cute.
I like the dungeon pieces from this and your other post! We usually just use sharpie and a battlemap. These seem to capture the claustrophobic feel of a dungeon a lot better though.
They had that bit advertising birkenstocks as well. It always takes me right out of the movie.
I got stuck on the same spot every single time I tried to make dnd work for my group. What finally worked for us was tokens. You dont have to go out and buy expensive miniatures - we use pennies, parts from other boardgames, coasters to represent area effects like guardian of faith, extra dice etc etc. The one other thing you need is a grid board. Someone in my group had one so we lucked out but I see them online for $20 to $30. Knowing where everyone is, how far you can move, who is gonna be hit by that cone of cold etc etc took off so much of the mental load and let us go back to having fun. You may already be doing this or it might not be right for your group but it helped us immensely.
The grid we use is dry erasable so we draw the battle map on there. We also use the markers on the pennies so we know the red marked one is the fire guy and so on. If you have any questions about this style of play lmk.
I have definitely blinded a fair share of people (and goblins) haha. Didn’t work so well when I tried to use it on a beholder and forgot the whole “anti-magic field” thing
Wow yeah that seems amazing for third level. I know I read it before but I didn’t realize it moves with me…
I came here to suggest Cathode Ray Dude, glad to see him mentioned. Fantastic, high-quality channel.
Your second link, the women’s march one, is basically an exact match.
However, Karen disappeared sometime before May 1994, possibly during the unusually wet winter of 1992 to 1993. Removal by artificial means is considered unlikely due to the lack of associated damage to the playa that a truck and winch would have caused. A possible sighting of Karen was made in 1994, 800 m (1⁄2 mi) from the playa. Karen was rediscovered by San Jose geologist Paula Messina in 1996.[10]
