Last night, broke him out of jail. One of the goblins threw grease on the floor in the prison. Big ol bear was too afraid to cross over and help with the rest of the mobs. Hell…he could have taken the stairs around. Nope just waited for my party to do the heavy lifting.

Next, I asked him to join us in the fight with the rest of the goblins. He maybe had 1-2 good hits but was mostly useless.

Once combat ended after we got the 2 big ones down, he peaces out without helping finish the rest of them.

If it weren’t for advancing the story in act 2, I’d leave his ass in there. (I know it is not mandatory, but I like the XP).

My husband does this with his scrolls too. And every piece of gear he “might” want to use. Not I. Stick to the plan, gear the characters you know you will use, and sell the rest.

I think my mom has the same problem. Must get X number of words out today or there will be grave consequences.

May be an unpopular opinion, but I hate Gale. Rather get 5 gold from an item than feed it too him. He talks way too much too.
