It’s funny everyone is suddenly getting banned.
I was on Reddit for at least 10 years. Made a new account, kept arguing against racists
Got banned for racism, obviously by the Nazis. Never got banned in the last 2 decades. And pretty sure none of the racists got banned
But it’s no surprise lemmy isn’t as big. That’s not a bad thing. Reddit is overrun by the same lobbyists and people who have ruined Facebook and made it no longer fun
Except the ones that submit AI slop patches to projects without even understanding it or being upfront about it

Whereas, on Facebook, nobody gets banned. I’ve literally reported people inciting violence towards others. However, it seems permitted by community standards these days

I suspect they shadow banned me first for a few days, and probably pissed off a few racists who kept watching my account.
I had an account for 10+ years before deleting it and creating a new one. My old account never even got banned from a subreddit once in all that time. And I had other accounts Before that, so I suspect I was targeted on the last account I bothered with

Yeah. And they were apparently “never going to win in SA either”. Everyone was happy with that result. SA is happy they lost, and ON supporters were somehow happy with being absolute failures too 😂
The Australian Subreddits got overrun by extremist right wing people who tend to be 20x louder than anyone else, and exaggerate everything.
One even reported me for being racist (successfully) despite the fact that the entire time I was fighting back against the racism
Even worse, you now need to log in to even see it at all in a mobile browser. So f that
That’s why I just left. You can use the redirect to old Reddit extension, but this is just so fucking dumb.
It’s like an extra step, to get access to their ads too. No idea why anyone was paying for ads on Reddit before, but seems more pointless now
Also, I actually drive a Jeep Unlimited (which is actually a fairly big car). And yet, never had an issue fitting into any of these spots. I’ve literally seen though ute drivers who pull into a spot badly, and not even try to fix the issue. Considering buying some stickers to throw on their windscreen.
Here in Australia, a ram 1500 nearly hit me on my bike by going the wrong way around a roundabout too. They didn’t even slow down to check.
I slammed my brake and swerved.
If they can’t even successfully navigate a right hand turn on a roundabout, they shouldn’t be here. And the drivers park and drive them at a lower standard, instead of higher too
And the IGA near me is full of large utes during lunch hours using 2-3 parking spots each.
