    In lower league news, Gateshead have been barred from the playoffs because they can’t guarantee 10 years at their stadium thanks to local council and that’s for some reason a rule to promote into the EFL. fucking heck.

    I know they’ve done it before however many times, but think about how unreasonable it is to expect a team to always win their last 10 or so games of the season. City are remarkably good, but the idea that they’re guaranteed to take 18/18 points is silly.

    my theory is that most of the pro-Partey hype is generated by Ghanaians and Nigerians on twitter. I’ve been reading talk that letting Partey play as a holding midfielder somehow “unlocks” the Yaya Toure in Rice so he can maraud forward. To that I say it was only Wolves with half a dozen injuries.
