Basically as the title states, I can’t create a post no matter what I try (I’m making this one without issue in Jerboa) and just get a message that says “coming soon” as if it’s some feature I don’t have?

Sync doesn’t support making posts yet so it’s not a bug on your end. That’s why you get the “coming soon” message

You can comment, you cannot post (yet).
just a reminder that sync is in beta, half the features are not there yet.
I thought making a post would be one of the most basic features…
Connecting to an instance, view post and comment , filter , block are even more basic and make the app already usable
Would you rather the dev not release everything until posting is ready (post has some complexity like direct images/vidéos/gifs, cross post, …) or release what it got working first and then add posts ?
I see your point and I see his point. I too thought posting would be there out of the blocks. That being said I am ecstatic to be using Sync again so I can wait for posting… And obviously we are happy to have the app again, even with posting “coming soon”. All will be sorted in time.

I don’t think you should get downvoted for asking… When I first installed sync I didn’t know I couldn’t post from here either and thought I was doing wrong on my end .lol… Should be sorted out very soon (like this week) according to what I read
