    I agree. I avoid it as much as possible. The only time I go there there now is when I’m unable to watch a match live and we just scored a goal and I really want to see it. And even then I usually go to r/soccer first.

    I feel like this community is perfect. A group for of between a dozen and two dozen very active regulars, who are fun to chat with and aren’t obnoxious knob heads; good quality posts (very limited or zero low-quality memes); and good moderation that walks the line really well between keeping things easy going and not being over the top.

    Pretty much every gooner community I’ve been involved with aside from this one has been flooded by argumentative elitists who are more interested in shitting on fellow gooners than in having interesting discussions.
