      Yes of course. It’s telling your loved one it’s ok to be in pain, and you’re happy to be with them even though they’re struggling. You’d rather be with them miserable than someone else who is happy

      I was with someone whose bad moods and difficult times were still more tolerable than the good moods of most people I know.

      I assume this is referring to the dynamic that can arise in relationships between disaffected people. It’s a nice feeling to be with somebody like that. also a plausible avenue for abuse or codependence, but not at all universally.

        Oh! Thank you! The artwork felt so beautiful and uplifting, and I forgot that rain is often equated with sadness.

        I’m someone who likes dancing in the rain and Texas has been as hot and humid as a mouth. I figured this had to be deeper than, “I like rainy days,” but I couldn’t quite get there.
