This comment actually made that choice click in my head, I’d never asked why that was before and kinda assumed it was to help protect the internals of a machine you couldn’t fix from the environment but really it’s more likely to be so you always have some bandages on hand (however sanitary)

I consider myself pretty well versed in ttrpgs. I’ve had decades in the hobby, I GM many odd and unusual systems and dabble in almost every genre.
I think it was a game that needed activations to play and I ran out of activations or something. Predictably, pirating it was the better experience in every way.

My jellyfin server is literally just a raspberry Pi 5 with an external 5 terabyte HDD. The hardware isn’t so bad price wise. If you do build something for and want more testing feel free to hit me up and I’ll play with it
Unfortunately my coding is limited to a semester of python in college so i’m not much use there.
I have jellyfin all set up on a media server so this won’t do much for me. That said, this is pretty slick looking and has a good use case. If I’d not been aiming to share with my long distance girlfriend I’d probably have opted for this kind of thing. Nice work op!
I’d recommend just making a new Microsoft account for them, then leaving the username/password with the staff, ideally someone in their IT crew.
