  • I printed a lot of custom stuff that I designed for specific uses in Fusion 360 when I got my computer, and for about two years afterwards. But I don’t have any more custom stuff that needs to be printed, and I don’t have a D&D group any more, so my printer has been sitting for about six months. I’d say it’s a success though, since I made everything I need, and it’ll still be there if I ever need anything else.

  • There’s a whole scene where they mutiny against their leader because they’re starving and dog tired. They want to eat the hobbits, and the only thing that stopped them was one of them getting beheaded for mutiny, and then getting decimated by a squadron of Rohan horsemen. I love that they took the time to include that, since it makes it more believable. The Uruk-hai were pushed to their absolute limits and then beyond, and they snapped, just like men would.

  • That’s what a backstory is though, it’s what happened in their past, before you met them. If you’re experiencing it with them then it’s their current journey. I did feel like I was able to reach meaningful and entertaining conclusions to all of the companion’s personal stories after hearing their backstory. But I never played any of Larian’s other games, so I don’t have anything to compare BG3 to. For me it was a completely new style of game, and one I enjoyed so much that I consider it to be a masterpiece, and the best game I have ever played. That’s saying a lot considering I’ve lived through the entire evolution of gaming, starting out with an Atari in the early 80’s.
