That’s a lot of questions, but my nephew would have answered No to the first question and Yes to the others. He’s a diagnosed schizophrenic, and I’m telling you about him because getting on meds turned his life around. He’s working now, has an apartment and is maintaining relationships.

I know it’s frightening, but you’ve had two doctors diagnose you. It might be worth trying the meds. Ask if there are programs that can help you pay.

South Louisiana here. It can be used affectionately (seeing a sick child and saying Bless your heart) but I find it is more often used to point out someone’s lack of intelligence or bad behaviour (Karen is pitching an absolute fit in the checkout lane at Albertsons because she misread a price label…Bless her heart)

Deep south Louisiana here. Recognized the fake sincerity in both her awful “I’m a good Christian wifey” voice and her “fake fake fake concerned” facial expressions, the fake automated and often inappropriate smiles. Yuk.

I’m sure this will fly right over the heads of Evangelical/Fundie idiots, because that’s all they’ve ever known. But those of us who’ve dipped our toe into the waters of a wider world are noticing, and we are not being fooled at all.

Tens of millions of women are angered by the overthrow of abortion rights and her “mommy and wifey” as her primary role in society is going to anger them further. The Republican woman is being shown as submissive with little value to the party; she literally belongs in the kitchen! That’s a big no-no to many women, even some Republican ones.

Which party believes that there was an attempted insurrection on Jan 6, 2021? Which party does not tout the ‘stollen’ election lie? Which party knows ‘stollen’ is not how you spell stolen? (Just a little joke to break up the wall of text.

Now for a few other points which may help you see if they’re both the same…

Which party refuses to even discuss putting any limits on gun rights? Which party believes a single cell nonviable organism trump’s a woman’s right to bodily autonomy? Which party thinks mail in ballots are an absolute no-go? Which party believes what happened on Jan 6 was a “peaceful protest”? Which party tells its constituents that the 2020 election was stolen?

And last, but most importantly of all, which party has closed ranks around a past president who tried to overthrow the counting of the electoral counts, who has been caught on several audio recordings pressuring state officials to throw out their electoral votes?

Maybe it’s just me, but I see a BIG difference.
