Not sure how much more it would cost to run. If you only really talk about stuff a pi can do as well, you wont be maxing out your cores. You will use a bit more maybe. Nothing sort of whatever you only really keep in mind for monero mining.

Those zero 3W sticks have been unavailable ever since I saw it here.
My brother in christ. A used PC has powersupply, case, storage and cooling. This is about the basic kit you need for a proper pi5 experience. You can very easily hit the 100 dollar mark.
Also, most of the used business PC will have 8G RAM, which would put your little ARM funsies up to the $130 budget range.
And you would still only have 4 shitty cores, no expandability.
Also the ability to unlock it.
They (allegedly temporarily) removed the software and the required server-side service to unlock the EOL Zenfone 8 (and all other phones for that matter) to install custom ROM.
Asus is walking a very thin line here including the recent motherboard BIOS fiasco.
On the other hand I have my zenfone 8 now, and it has been perfectly good for over 2 years now.
You can get 2 Ampere ARM cores, 4G RAM and 40G space for that money at hetzner.
Literally has an industrial qualcomm chip just for lenghtened support.

In 2-3 years the phone scene might radically change with the EU law. You might not even want to use this till 2030.
There is no info on zenfone 8 and 9 as they conveniently left that out. There is no APK on the download page for zenfone 8 or 9, neither can you use the APK already downloaded. See one of the newest XDA threads on Zenfone 8.
TBH good sounding IEM/Headphones actually worth keeping for years today are almost all modular. IEM/Headphones worthy of playing from a jack will not sound great from a trash built-in one and will need extra AMP/DAC anyway.
Funnily enough, the best AMP/DACs you can get today all use bluetooth. They are even good after the battery dies since they are also wired DAC/AMPs. There are some where a battery change is also likely. IEMs have TWS converters as well.
It is all pretty convenient without a builtin jack, unless you are really running dry on cash and/or dont even care about the most important part which is audio quality.
Linux has Pulseaudio/Pipewire. You can stream audio on the network in arbitrary ways.
My zenfone 8 is solid, but has high treble when listening on max on my headphone and Planar IEM. I would not necesserily recommend builtin jacks. If you can choose a lot cheaper device for lack of a jack, you can get a fucking great bluetooth adapter and a very good IEM from the difference.
Apart from that, I recommend Gigaset/Volla and Fairphone since they are servicable and have removable batteries.
Spartans were way better trained as being royalty who should have been exclusively occupied with warfare in addition to their own propaganda that they were invaders and that the helots would betray them first time they could.
Practicing on live helots, being barred from politics until you were old enough and the puritanism all played into making them the most formidable.
I think that despite spartan losses, they almost always had the edge in the training and morale for the average citizen.
Sparta feels like if the Navy seals lead a state. The Shogunate feels more like a long lived junta with feudalism.
