Probably because people above the waterline don’t know Mozilla exists, and people below have seen how things have been going lately.

For a long time, I thought it was Fedora Core 4. I did use that, but I recently found my old burned CDs of Mandrake 8.1. That really took me back. I might install it on a VM for some nostalgia.
I’m so sorry to hear this! Please don’t delete your posts. I’ve enjoyed them. I’m really sorry the vibe changed so much for you. All I can say is that after 10 years on Reddit and two on here, here is still way better.
Where would you go after this? The only other alternative I can imagine is old-school forums.
🎶Too many cooks!🎶
Hulu uses what I’m pretty sure was the ending credit song in the intro. Probably to avoid Teardrop royalties or something. I hate it so much, I didn’t finish the series last time I tried to watch it.

Wow, I was not aware of that. I really liked balena. Thankfully, I haven’t been using it since installing Mint.

I thought it was great when it was on, now it’s unwatchable for me. It’s like, Playstation 1 cutscenes: the show.
BoxOfFeet@lemmy.worldto Casual Conversation @lemm.ee•What are your vices or guilty pleasures?English2·3 months agoEasy! I’d have to say the Tudor Black Bay Heritage. It was my first Swiss watch, and I loved it ever since it came out in 2012. Long before I could afford one. I cut an ad out of a jewelry store catalog and hung it in my cube as a “someday” kind of inspiration, and couldn’t afford one until 2020. I picked it up March 5, pretty much right before that whole year went to crap.
It’s also the watch I wore when my daughter was born, so there’s a lot of memories associated with it.
It’s not super expensive, as far as luxury watches go. And there are a lot of things about it that other watch collectors don’t like. Oh, there’s no crown guards. Oh, you can’t have Snowflake hands with round indices. Oh, it’s too thick. Oh, the riveted bracelet looks bulky. But I love all those things, and it was the inspiration of more than one Invicta mod of mine until I could get it.

BoxOfFeet@lemmy.worldto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why do males complain about female-led stories or too many female characters when the majority are still dominated by males?3·3 months agoI don’t know. I live a good female lead. Ripley, Furiosa, Marge Gunderson. There’s so many, that’s just the first three that come to mind. Half the time when I’m playing Fallout, it’s female characters.
There are definitely bad female leads in things, too. Just like there are bad male leads. Like, Borderlands 3, basically unplayable. I never finished it. And I really want to be clear, the characters aren’t bad because they are women, they are bad due to poor writing. That game had such potential, but it felt like the script was written entirely by highschoolers.
Oh, no. Not at all. All hope is lost, this is just a comfortable place to die.

I have quite a few. My wife’s favorites are Versace Eros, Versace Dylan Blue, and Dior Sauvage. My personal favorites are Mont Blanc Explorer, Mont Blanc Explorer Ultra Blue, and Viktor Rolf Spicebomb Fresh.
Honorable mention to Azzaro The Most Wanted.
Nah. It’s fine. I ended up taking an extra year to get my BSME. Nobody has ever once questioned that on my resume. Luckily, a few of my friends continued on to graduate studies, so I still knew a few people that last year.
