That’s a rhetorical question, I already known the answer is they want to handwave away real issues and only focus on the theater issues they themselves create to generate outrage.

Solving percents. I use this to predict gross and net of my paychecks when I do my budget.

(GrossX) = (Net × 100)

GrossX ÷ (Net × 100) = X

Example;

200             X
------    =   -------
250            100

Step A
200 × 100 = 20000

Now 250X = 20000

Step B
20000÷250=80

Therefore X=80
Also expressed as 80% of 250 = 200.

It’s also kinda handy when figuring out sales and stuff at the store, sometimes.

I’ve actually got a setting/ system that uses this idea as a world building start. Necrobiotic by Penny for a Tale. It’s pretty cool, although i use it as a guide for world creation with DnD games rather then playing in the created system.

Finch is pretty close. Free as well. It’s intended to help with self care and mental wellness, could be a good fit for you.

Again. This bill was introduced last year, by the same person, and it died at the time because of some grassroots actions. Now, the wording is slightly different (so it can be introduced again as a “different” bill), and it’s being tried again.

Yes, for three reasons.

1. I judge the color to be sure I’m not getting sick and it’s just a regular need to blow my nose.
2. I check for the presence of any blood, since I work around materials and in environments that can cause alot of dry air, giving me a higher incidence of nose bleeds.
3. My work environments are very dusty, and if Inhave alot of black or grey dust when I blow my nose, I know I need to clean my airways when I get the chance so the dust isn’t in there longer then a day.

Sounds like a ‘fade to black’, as I call them.

My aunt only ever knew one thing about me, that I grew up liking Harry Potter. First I got all the books, split across two years. Then I got all the movies as they came out, up to the 5th one. After that I was apparently too old for her to know what I liked, I got a gift card to a gas station for 3 years in a row. I mean hey $20 in gas wasn’t a totally awful thing as a late teenager, so I guess it could have been worse.

I feel bad for the kids, those candles must have been waxy and disappointing.
