There are government decency rules about what can be broadcast on over the air television and i have a feeling people beating the shit out of each other wouldn’t be deemed acceptable. Would be nice, but don’t see it happening.

This kind of stuff is just another reason that reinforces my decision to switch from Plex to Jellyfin. Plex is just adding way too much bloat and unnecessary features.
Far cry 5 is one of my favorite far cry games so I definitely recommend it.
I believe they did but were of the understanding he’d go back to OpenAI if the board changed their mind (like what happened). It was basically his golden parachute.
I work in the IT field and in the last 5 months or so the amount of users getting into sticky situations (fake virus warnings, notification hijacking, etc) has skyrocketed. I kept thinking they were visiting shady sites, but finally I found out it’s the ads on google search results. It’s ridiculous how shady the ads are and I completely blame google. The notification feature in chrome is the stupidest thing ever with how easy it is for sites to take advantage of ignorant users.
Same here and also haven’t noticed any heat issues. Admittedly though I’m not running resource heavy apps for long like some people do.
I have a friend with a 14 pro and she’s been having tons of heat issues since upgrading to iOS 17 so perhaps it’s not a 15 specific issue.
Same here. I’ve moved to Avelon which I strongly recommend you trying out. It’s legit.
Once memmy starts getting updates again I may switch back but gotta say, Avelon may have me hooked.
Could you use just one ear bud? I do that a lot so that I can still hear what’s going on around me but have some music or podcast going while I work.
Anyone know if there are any plans to have sync for iOS?
It’s good that you’re wanting to cook for yourself, but why no produce? You really need to be able to cut up and onion and to be fair garlic you can get away with already diced jarred stuff, but whew love me my onions lol
Here’s a recipe that is budget centered. You could tweak it to your particular needs but cutting out the parts you can’t do > https://www.spendwithpennies.com/easy-meat-sauce/
Ah yeah it def helps to pay for a lot of time up front on mint. I’m just a little leery about being locked in for a whole year but would be good to save more.
Yep clearly shows $25 on their website, weird. Probably a price hike coming if I had to guess.
Is boost any good? I’m on mint mobile paying $25 per month for 5GB of data. If I could get unlimited with boost, seems like a good move.
Well said
Anyone hearing anything about any of the iOS Reddit apps making a comeback on Lemmy? We’ve got several from the android side but I can’t recall hearing anything about iOS. You’d think Apollo would make a comeback here… still hoping this is the case!
I only downvote if the comment is being rude, spam, insulting, or hateful. If it’s someone sharing their opinion about something, even if I and “everyone else” disagrees, it’s not worthy of my downvote. It makes me mad when legitimate thoughts that are relevant, but against the grain, get downvoted.
Totally agree with you. I’ve had a couple times where I’m tempted to get one but always talk myself out of it. I’m already addicted to my phone enough as it is. A smart watch would just totally mess me up.
The only time I’ve used foil on the grates before was when I was at a lake and the grill was filthy. I wasn’t able to adequately burn off all the gunk so went the foil route. There’s no reason to do this if it’s your own grill and you maintain it.
That is a fair point.
It looks kind of dumb though if I’m being honest. You can easily tell if someone didn’t inhale and instead just kept it in their mouth. Doesn’t look as complete. For acting, I’d consider this an issue.
CD-RW isn’t compatible on many basic CD players like CD-Rs are so unless you have a player that you know supports RW, it’s usually best to go with R.
