Change the T to a P then an E, maybe even a Z, and then we’re in the right ballpark.

They place them majestically on their hips, as if they’re the captain of a boat.

Factorio did it right, IMO. V2.0 as a free update to the base game, launch a paid expansion at the same time.
Wube is pretty much the only developer I have faith in to consistently do things right.
What… uhh… what do people normally talk about when discussing balls? I feel like you’re asking me to gossip about them behind their backs.

I just tried their site in fennec w/ NoScript and only have their main domain whitelisted. That bar appears at the bottom for me. Not sure what’s going on here.

I’m in a country where there’s no legal precedent against torrenting, so it’s somewhat safe, but it’s still better to use one anyways. You never know when the laws might change, and it’s best if there’s no record of your IP/timestamp torrenting.
Either way, there’s a risk-reward tradeoff of not using one, but the risk is much higher in the US, and if you’re made an example of, it could be life ruining. You’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s worth paying to mitigate the risk.

That honestly makes me want to buy the game. Sadly, it’s not really a genre I enjoy very much.
Just a quick clarification: /*/*/* is not a relative path. The first / references the root directory.

Y’know, while I also think it’s exaggerated, there’s definitely some truth to it. I was playing it on my phone while my friend’s kids were watching, and they incessantly tried to get me to pick opening packs over any other game mechanic.
I think it definitely does abuse that “loot box opening” dopamine pathway a little too well in a perhaps a less than healthy sort of way, even if it doesn’t cost you any real money.
So while it is a very good deck building strategy game, I totally get the reason it has the reputation it does.

That’s just a cat thing. Some of them are intent on displaying their poopers whenever possible, especially if it’s right in your face.

Damn, I was with you until the unnecessary vegan bashing.

This one here, right?
Endorsement of or justifications for Hamas or Hezbollah, or slogans or graphics positively referring to these organizations. These are considered terrorist organizations in Germany.
I don’t think expressing understanding is either endorsement or justification. So as written, it should be fine, but since it comes down to the mods interpretation, who knows what the outcome would actually be.

Eleven and twelve still do kinda follow base 10 rules. They literally mean “one left” (ain-lif) and “two left” (twa-lif) with the “over ten” being implied.
I’m not quite sure why we have different words for those two, though. Maybe when we added the 'teens, those two just sounded better than firsteen and seconteen?

You just know if Konsi actually went in to the stock market, she’d manage to accidentally double her money in a few hours.

I think VPN is the proper way to go about this, but another method is to do port knocking with fkwnop so your SSH port won’t respond until the host receives a magic packet.
That’s not the only point though. IIRC, they also remove telemetry, and pocket as well as some other things. I personally turn back on persistent sessions and history, but leave all the other privacy features there.
Asides from the kinda-shady crypto stuff and the other things that’ve already been mentioned, just philosophically it should be kinda evident that over-concentration on one corporate controlled rendering engine isn’t a good thing. Google wants the internet to be a walled garden with themselves as the sole decision makers so they can stuff ads down your throat.
Gecko’s web compat is bad largely because of this over-concentration.
That is the default behaviour, but it’s pretty trivial to change. Also, I’d imagine the distro maintainer could choose to change the default settings as part of a post-install script, if they wanted to.
Edit: Not sure why you’re being downvoted, as I do think it’s a valid concern.
…w…would? ^w^
