Swap to a 0 calorie version and just keep enjoying it? Fizzy drinks are a pretty harmless vice in the grand scheme of things. Hollow calories, so if you can replace it with a 0 calorie version, it would at least stop affecting your weight.

A whole lot of shit slinging at LTT for no real reason. At when LTT rebuked the claims and suggested to stop doing so and work together in the future, GN just decided to double down and continue.

I use windows. I haven’t paid for a windows key since windows 7 iirc. Windows has been free for years. (I know you pay with your data etc. Good luck convincing average Joe who uses all social media services that this even matters)

For me personally: I really enjoy tiktok. My feed is curated enough over time that I only see stuff I’m genuinely interested in, comedy, science, tech, fitness and ofcourse skimpy dancing ladies. I do not suffer from the so called propaganda on it.

I agree that tiktok melts brains of teenagers, but so does Instagram reels, facebook and YouTube shorts. So that isn’t a tiktok issue in itself anymore.

My grandfather for sure. No way he would be able to understand the current cultural climate. He basically died from getting worked up about stuff the entire time in the late 90s. I’m 100% sure he never stopped rolling around.

I use a seedbox abroad and secure ssh to transfer stuff to my own server. Don’t see what additional security a vpn would give me.

I use swiftkey. I type in 3 different languages daily (even in individual conversations) . Swiftkey does this very simply and automatically. Almost no fucking around with changing languages. It just does it by itself.

Would love to use other keyboards, but none of them comes even close if you need multiple languages all the time.

Yeah, as long as Firefox (or a fork) doesn’t have native gestures, I can’t fulltime swap to it. Gestures addons are not the same. Anyone that used vivaldi (or opera) for any serious length of time knows what I mean.

Yes, I read it. Outside reputable company found no wrong doing. LTT released a statement. By mentioning the lawsuit, they also shut down speculation that they have a weak position.

OP of that post projects their own horrible experience onto LTT. They add nothing at all to the situation, they don’t offer any new proof whatsoever. Fuck that tbh. I feel sorry for their personal experience, but this has nothing to do with whole Madison story.

When the Madison story came out, I unsubbed from LTT. Always believe the victim. But then more and more info came out that cast quite some doubt on the veracity of the whole story.

Now it sounds more like an employee that had an (maybe very much so for them) unpleasant experience at a company and lashed out. Turns out the work company wasn’t as bad as she made it out to look. Shit happens.

You did see the report they released right? Outside consultant coming to the conclusion no egregious things happened? I’d give them the benefit of the doubt at this point tbh.

Get a cheap new phone number? Your potential employer will find out your identity eventually when you start working there no? What’s the issue with having to use ID to get a new line? You put a fake name on your resume?
