Ok I misread that title, I thought there was going to be a Belgian robot AI church minister going after criminals
It’s an interesting concept and seems plausible enough (same as with Planet X, Nemesis… ok some of that Nibiru stuff is ridiculous) but like, the evidence just isn’t there to support it. Feels like we should have found SOME evidence for this kind of interstellar disaster by now. I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong.
The money will disappear into a hole, just like it does every time the US government invests into tech
As much as I find distasteful the idea of shipping “mandatory” patches for single player games years down the line to fix issues that should’ve been caught during QA… this might be a decent use case for them
I would super appreciate “Jump Back In” mode…
Networking is always fun to debug… haha. I tried to replicate your issue but was unable to. Are you using docker, kubernetes or something else? Would be helpful if you could post your docker-compose.yml, kubernetes object manifests or other relevant config.
You’re saying this like it’s universally true everywhere

Min maxing is a legit academic topic? Awesome. I learned what it is from years of being sweaty at killing internet dragons
Isolated web apps… ewww
I vastly prefer the visual style of Civ 5 and find Civ 6 painful to look at
It’s a basic about me type thing with links to all my stuff and a contact form (which invokes my self hosted and homemade email sending API). It also has Prometheus metrics which I consume on my “global overview” dashboard (everything happening with all my stuff at once) so I know if somebody has visited. Pretty cosy.
I get this too. Like the Dark Souls bonfire feeling IRL
