OOTL and someone who only uses a vm once every several years for shits & grins: What happened to vmware?
40 years old. Haven’t been satisfied with a phone-slam since before my first cordless phone in 2001.
Cena’s infamous for being (comparably) quite loud in the ring when calling things. Always manages to get picked up by the mic’s.

Asked and answered but to chime in also: Boxing is not fixed (outside of incidents involving crooked people of course).
Pro Wrestling is choreographed performances. The results of matches are predetermined by the booker. The wrestlers come together before hand, decide between them some ‘spots’ they wanna do during the match but otherwise go out there and ‘call a match’ live (giving each other verbal cues to do certain things/do certain things to them which the audience doesn’t/can’t hear [hopefully, looking at you Cena lol]).
The moves are done in specific ways to minimize actual damage, and wrestlers are trained to land, and take moves in specific ways to minimize actual damage.
A good source is the Santino Bros Wrestling Academy out in Cali. They have a playlist on their YouTube channel showing the basics of almost any wrestling move you’d wanna know and learn. Watch some of em and you can see the tricks.
Or the 3 or 4 times New Jack tried to straight up kill someone during a match.
I.E. A Tuesday.
Honestly the only thing HP has ever made that I haven’t been horribly, horribly disappointed with is their monitors. Just through circumstance of ‘whatever-the-fuck-was-cheapest-but-not-total-ass-when-I-went-to-buy-them’ I’ve ended up with 4 different HP monitors over the years, including a 20ish year old 4:3 one which still goes strong to this day.
Every other product was pure unadulterated ass.
I find it funny any time I check Reddit and see the people complaining in the comments. ‘Whats going on with Reddit lately?’, ‘Why are there so many bots and so much spam as of late?’.
Memories of gerbils I swear, we fuckin’ told you this was gonna happen. How are these simpletons surprised?! (I know I answered my own question there lol).
When the Redditpocalypse started and we all came this way, someone made a post about this very thing. I still stand by my statement that day (which I paraphrase):
I don’t care about emoji’s enough to whine until it’s excessive. Reddit’s insistence that one “😀” is the end of the world was pants-on-head-stupid. Use emoji’s all you fuckin’ want, but if you start putting 3+ in 1 comment I’m going to prep a straight jacket for the person.
Having never heard of this nor read the article, I assume it was the 2020’s equivalent of the old AIM chatbots that were amusing to talk to for 11 seconds before realizing you had better shit to do.
That is neat as shit and I really regret getting rid of my huge ass collection of VHS tapes a dec…wait as I type this I remember I got a huge rubbermaid tote with the original Star Trek TOS VHS run they released back in the 90’s sitting in storage somewhere…
…fuck I’m gonna buy a 3D printer now…
Some updates were pushed out in the last 48h or so which should alleviate that problem a good bit.
I mean we do try ;)
Mostly posters and flags in the geeky/gamer/nerd vein, which are taken down and rotated with others every couple years for shits n grins.
100% then. Has some great enemies, plus several returning ones you’ll recognize.
If memory serves, Toriyama did provide character designs and the like, but yes he otherwise declined to participate.
Is it worth viewing? YMMV. In a post-DBZ world where it was ‘You get GT or you get nothing cause the franchise already ended’ it 100% sufficed, even if it wasn’t as great as DB or DBZ. Now-a-days with it being 100% not canon, and us having Super, this new one coming, films, etc, it can be a bit more lackluster. If you love Dragon Ball because “sweet anime fights”, you’d have zero problem with the show at all.
I remember the biggest issue people had with it (back when it came out when i was a teen) was that Goku was a kid again after a full series (and a bit) of being an adult, so the vibe was always a bit…off. Now with Muppet Z-Fighters™ here coming out (assuming it’ll be good, of course) people may look back on GT a bit better, who knows.
Either way its like 3 seasons so it’s not a long watch!
I’ve still got “To Sort” folders on spindles of DVDs lol
