I disagree.
Raise the stakes. The cult could attempt a bigger ritual that could target the party from anywhere, but can only be performed under certain circumstances. Perhaps a moon phase, star alignment, purification ritual, etc.
Now, the party must race to find the requirements and interrupt the ritual or they could all die.
Step 1. Mask the item. Change its size, shape, outline, or appearance. In this case, straighten out to be just a bit of wire. Step 2. Fight gravity. Items fall down normally, so hide it somewhere against gravity. Anywhere you couldn’t normally reach is a good start. Step 3. Reach around. Hide the item in a location you can reach, but cannot see. In this case, the air return would be a good place I could reach into and hide a small piece of wire by wedging into the drywall. Step 4. Distract. Take the other boxes of paper clips and scatter them throughout the house. Welcome to the haystack. Step 5. Admit nothing. If they ever claim to have the paper clip, do not check the correct location until the time period has elapsed.

The idea of a standardized container that is so sexy. Bonus points if it comes in a variety of sizes that perfectly scale and tesselate together.
I tried out podman at first, but I found many docker instances simply provide a string of crap instead of explanations. It was easy to get a grasp of how docker worked, and now that I have an idea I feel like I could jump into podman better.
There’s a lot of narrative potential there. Why would a group of rag-tag bandits attack a squad of seasoned fighters? Perhaps they were misled by their cruel leader who tortures those who fail to “motivate” the remaining bandits.
The leader could be secretly backed by a powerful noble who is funding the bandits as a way to remove competition. The leader doesn’t need the bandits, so their lives are expendable, but the bandits are the outcast, down trodden, and desperate who have no alternatives.
What seems to be a simple case of greedy bandits suddenly becomes a power struggle between noble houses with the backing of the crown. Killing the leader may solve the issue in the short term, but the nobles will just install a new chump to continue the plan. Killing the nobles will have greater consequences across the kingdom. Disposing the crown will throw the kingdom into chaos.
And it all starts with one, desperate highway man begging for his life in the mud while the party thinks “it’s just a bandit, they’re evil, so they deserve to die.”
Sure, lizard folk can do so many pushups and a normal lizard mainly just quits runs away after the first one. No contest.
“Oh tha’s nice. Good grip on the bottom, large top to hit with, large middle for deflection. Too bad ya made it out of this weak wood or it would be an excellent weapon!”
“That is a chair you brute! Was a chair. Now it’s fire wood…”
“Ya can sit on it too? Genius! Just needs a place to hold a drink and it could be perfect!”

The suffix “gaming” implies bright colors, low quality, and a higher price tag. It’s right next to “premium” for identifying garbage products.
Also, I’ve had so many cheap chairs in my life that just failed. The “leather” peels, the gas lift breaks, or the seat cushion wears out and causes pain and discomfort.
That said, you can buy new gas lifts to fix a sinking chair very cheap and buy additional cushions to reduce pressure. If you can’t afford a good chair, don’t keep buying new bad ones!

You advance relationships during long rests, but I wasn’t taking them. Because I never reached the next relationship milestone before the next act, I instead had a cutscene where the character, Karlach, laments the lost connection despite the fact I was very much into them.
They are external ports for water cooling. They allow you to run the pipes to an exterior location, and I have never seen anyone use them ever. I would leave the rubber grommet as it generally looks nicer than the hole.
