  • So you want to print the bulk of the print normal but exterior perimiters only in a lower layer height? I don’t think any slicers do that but I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work and potentially give a higher resolution exterior finish in less time than just lowering the layer height for the whole print.

edit: just saw that someone already pointed out that cura does essentially this but the infill being the focus, and that you already saw it.

  • its good on controller but I mainly game on steam deck and I hate it on steam deck. too heavy and hard to get the sweet spot of avoiding accidental input and not having too high or too low sensitivity. I need a steam controller 2.

but yeah you can do stuff like fast/coarse move with stick and slow/precision with gyro and do compound movement of both at the same time, for example tilting against the stick if you overshoot or with the stick if the aim comes short, or adding up or down hairline adjustment on gyro while doing just right or left on the stick. weird at first but I can do it better than mouse aim on controllers with good implementaion.

  • I left a lot out but I think overall it still counts. this formerly middle of nowhere town grew too big due to high end highrise projects and everyone wanted to live in lovely little forest tower with a view but making the car and bike infrastructure able to support the additional homes isn’t profitable so getting in and out is bottlenecked massively, local businesses have been replaced by more housing projects so you have to go farther to get food and stuff.

so basically once upon a time nothing was here and you had to drive out far to get anything. then the town picked up over several decades and you didnt have to go anywhere because everything was there. then they got rid of everything and brought in more people so you have to drive again but now in traffic, all to line the pockets of mainly two companies’ execs.
