Trusting your audience to appreciate the depth of work that isn’t just flashy graphics, plus respecting players by not filling it with micro transactions.
People are desperate for games with some heart.

Is tactician the hardest?
Mine was also dental, so that checks out. My dream ended with a volcano for some reason.
A couple of times. This last time, I swore that I was conscious during the procedure and tried explaining it to the doctor when I woke up. I told him that I was sort of dreaming, and my brain was converting pain/pressure into stuff happening in the dream.
They didn’t seem to believe me, and honestly I don’t think I do either. I was really out of it when I woke up.
Been hearing good things and am looking forward to trying it out!
Ads and data collection are too much for me. Sticking with Liftoff for now.
Yeah, I saw this too when I went to download, and this bothers me a little bit. None of the other Lemmy apps I use collect my data.
Is this decision set in stone?
Cat.
Movies make it seem like it’s some magical land of partying and having life-changing experiences every week, but I think the average person just goes to class and goes home.
I don’t trust it not to break.
Also they’re wildly expensive.
I’m personally loving how much Trek is on Lemmy. There’s even a star trek based instance.
I’m loving Liftoff, but I’m still excited about sync.
There are videos of admins blatantly removing it.
I think it’s a virtue to be the type of person that tries to preserve the past. Hold on to memories and the things that represent them, so that you can share it with others later.
Museums of all types are filled with things that people like you have saved.
With his first child on the way too. What a tragic story.
There are real problems, but be wary of news/social media that use doom & gloom for engagement. Algorithms will drown you in the most extreme takes, even when on the “right side” of real issues.
Just try to do the right thing, and don’t let the internet scare you into not living your life.
For friends and family? Texting, discord, etc.
The only social media I use outside of that has been reddit since like 2011.
I do think it’s helpful to ensure that companies feel comfortable spending money on development, but it stifles innovation and progress when we can’t open up the playing field after they’ve already made boatloads of money.
How many medications out there are still printing money when a generic would cost like 5 cents? How many creative projects get censored or scrapped because they too closely resemble some megacorp’s IP? How many technologies are out there that can’t be openly built upon because some company owns the rights and wants to milk it for another decade?
It holds back innovation
I’m worried about it too. So much so that I’m going to wait for reviews. I’m expecting it’ll be a buggy mess for at launch anyway, considering it’s Bethesda, the delays, and the unusually high minimum specs listed.
