I don’t like when people say “AI just traces/photobashes art.” Because that simply isn’t what happens.
But I do very much wish there was some sort of opt-out process, but ultimately any attempt at that just wouldn’t work

“Our logo is our most recognizable asset. That’s why we’re so protective of it.” -Twitter’s (Currently Outdated) Brand Toolkit Page
Yeah, this “Omg Facetrash lost all their users, they have such a dead platform lol” is stupid. I dislike Meta, but it’s a new social media, of course not every single user who checks it out will stay, that’s how it is for all new social medias, video games, anything
Ah, that’s fair. Do you think you’ve changed your mind on it, or do you believe that it’s sort of a con of these platforms?
I wouldn’t be surprised if this was done through cryptocurrency like Reddit’s done before.
A few years ago Reddit started to give community specific cryptocurrencies depending on how much karma the user got. I think it was only launched on the Fortnite and Cryptocurrency subreddits, and I’d say giving cryptocurrency to a community of mostly young Fortnite fans seems immoral, but not surprising for Reddit.
Ah, I’ve used Photopea for years now and I never would have thought it would have functioned on mobile. Thanks for the tip!
The light sword is the only good option.
Swords are pretty useless underwater because water is much denser then air.
The candle sword, and sword that kills you are self explanatory.
Just use it as a light source when you’re hungry, and if you need to be stealthy bring some snacks.
Maybe I’m crazy, but I kinda doubt that this is likely to be killed off. I also don’t think it should be called a Reddit replacement. It’s not it’s own platform like Reddit, it just takes content that’s more likely to be made by people from websites like Reddit, blogs, and other social media platforms and puts it all in one place.
But who knows with Google.
I hate living in a world where undercover agents are sent to all ages “Drag Queen Christmas” events
Yeah, it is very possible for us to not let Meta win. Acting like the Fediverse is doomed isn’t productive at all.
Never really understood the hate for AntiWork, also never really visited it that much though.
I remember some user posting about how their boss made them like barbeque once a week, and a few comments were about how somebody should crosspost it to r/antiwork, and somehow they’d find a way to hate on it. Then when it was crossposted the comments were all positive, sharing how their bosses did similar things.
