Afaik this is a host “problem”, not client. If you have a Asus mesh, you can set some rssi level at when the host will disconnect the client so the client will connect on the other AP.
Else the client will happily stay on the weaker host. On

Using Linux for 30 years, I’m with MX and Xfce for years.
Lol I thought it did not exist anymore, like in Canada (where I am)
Same, I’m using MX Linux with native .deb and never ever installed a flatpak, so I have no clue what it is
I went through sh->csh->tcsh->bash
I dunno, I bought it for Reddit 14 years ago, and bought it for Lemmy in the hour it was available. It’s great, 18€ is nothing really
I can confirm, I set it to Scaled, and it is not saved
EDIT: it works in lemmy.world but not beehaw.org because there is no Scaled option in their WebUI
I have a PoCo F3, basically a xiaomi, and I disabled all their crap, especially security/avast
I buy hundreds of stuff on AE, but I’ll never buy something that plugs on AC, it’s all weak and not tested. You play with fire.
Got it, thanks LJ!
Damn you, this post always crash!!!
Same, sync crashes when scrolling because of a post, not sure which one.
My phone support (and came with) a 33W charger, I tested it and it properly charges at 11V 3A, very quick, I used it 2 or 3 times only in emergency because I had to go and 20 minutes charges to 70% or something.
Else? My phone is on my desk, connected to the computer, it charges slowly (5V 500mA?), when it reaches 80-85% I unplug it.
I WFH so it is never a problem, I keep my phone between 30 and 80% most of the time. After 2 years battery life is still impressive I think.
I pay with my phone since 2016, don’t even have a wallet anymore. On my previous phones I installed custom ROMs and too often after a g-pay update or whatever, I had to install all kind of magisk modules and scripts and hiding app or fake testpass or whatever to have my g-pay working… for days/weeks until the next upgrade that borked eveything and you have to explore XDA and find all the trick to re-enable it, until the next time etc. It goes boring pretty fast. My latest phone I kept the bootloader locked and OEM rom.
I agree, we need super high resolution!
True, I tested with an account on beehaw and I can downvote story/comment but after a refresh, it didn’t work. (beehaw has downvote disabled)
The guy who is making Connect did its initial release in 4 or 5 days, I remember I tried it, he was updating multiple times a day in the beginning, impressive
True, for most “1st world countries” the price is ok, but US$20 in countries were people earn $1 per hour, it’s a lot. LJ just changed the pricing for like 100 countries, great guy.
Same, long time SyncPro user here (10 years), I stopped using reddit in June, I spent all my July on lemmy with PWA, Jerboa, Connect, etc, there was so much problems in the beginning with crash, network errors, etc. it was a jungle, dozens of new instances per day, etc. It is all stable now, I used Jerboa the most. First day Sync for Lemmy was out I installed it, it was like I never left the old site, same layout, colours, functionalities, gesture, etc. Sync for Lemmy is a saviour for sure. I didn’t want the subscribe, I bought the noads version the minute it was out.
I’m using an old “ZTE Falcon” hotspot, I got it from T-Mobile maybe 8 years ago, it’s 4G/LTE, still works fine, tried multiple SIM (mine is unlocked), in general I’m using it via WiFi because we connect multiple phones/tv/laptops on it while traveling in a RV. I tested it with a USB cable between my linux and the hotspot, and it appears in Linux as a “usb0” interface, got an IP address, and works fine, it disables WiFi IIRC when plugged by USB.
