Warframe, started playing a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it, still play several hours every day and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

No Man’s Sky, started the new expedition yesterday, still at the very beginning so haven’t seen much of the new things from the World Part 1 update yet.

Dungeons of Hinterberg, really nice and chill game, love the music and art style.

I get this almost daily, my whole family and several friends know I’m good at recommending things to them so they always go to me to ask what to watch. I’ve had to start looking up and writing down where each movie and show is available “normally”. I have no issue saying I get everything via other means but whem it became a thing where people started asking “can you also look up where it’s available” just because it’s not always easy to figure that out and they knew I didn’t know and generally find it quicker than them.

How is it a mess? They gave people YEARS with constant reminders and it takes like half a minute to do. Anyone having issues with this is a fucking idiot and deserves to loose their account.

You might have missed the news, Affinity sold out to Canva. Really sucks, Affinity was the only truly good alternative but I put it in the mental “never touch” category immediately when that happened.

A thing that always felt so weird to me is that there are so many other websites and services that work basically the same yet the people that run them don’t have such a shitty attitude about it. I’ve been in that position myself and you need to just ignore the idiots, they’ll always be there no matter what. I’ve always felt that the people behind gog-games need to get their heads out of their asses, if you look anywhere they communicate with people (which is VERY little) it’s just complaints, defensive and offensive statements.

Please note that this in no way means I don’t appreciate the heck out of their work, I do and I have donated to them.

But I really think they’re just doing themselves a disservice by treating basically everyone like shit. I’ve seen this exact behaviour in other places and it never ends good, and it was always their own damn fault by being unable to ignore and filter out the crap. Everyone else handles it and doesn’t act like dicks about it.

It makes more sense IMO, usually red is used for things like stop, wrong, error, bad etc. and while green is most common for go, correct, good etc. blue fits better as an opposite to red.

I played Andromeda about a year ago and absolutely loved it. I went in with low expectations and was thoroughly proven wrong. I’ve loved all the mass effect games but I think I liked Andromeda most, which people seem to get angry about when I say it.

Every two years. The carrier I’m on has a thing where I keep the same plan if I get a new phone when the current one is paid, and they have a “phone of the month” that is always on a two-year plan with 20GB of data and unlimited calling and texting for about $35. Currently have the galaxy S22, which included the galaxy buds pro, so getting a new one this year. I always give my last one to a family member or friend that needs it.

Has there been any word at all from the dev about the app since the beta 96 release? It seems a lot of people are having issues, more than just what this post is about. I’ve had to switch to another app as my main because of it. I’m just wondering, not complaining.

I understand why they do it, though. Because every time there is something skippable, people will skip it and then go and complain about being confused or saying the game didn’t explain something well enough. A good thing that should be more common is things shouldn’t be skippable the first time you play a game and then skippable after that.

Many wish for less handholding in games, then completely miss major features or story beats because they skipped whatever they needed to get that info and go and pester the devs or others about it.
