I think of adblockers as a filter.
Websites can choose to include ads, and I choose to filter them out with ad blockers.
Its no different than me placing a sticky note over every ad on my screen, or turning away and covering my ears when a video ad plays. But ad blockers automate that process and make it a whole lot easier. Simple quality of life
Even without all this ad blocker bs from Google, I like Firefox a lot better than the chrome based browser I used before, opera.
It’s a lot cleaner and feels faster
Well, I agree with your statement that you shouldn’t cut content or water a game down to make it appeal to a wider audience.
But what they were asking for was a setting to be able to turn off romance. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to turn off an aspect of a game you don’t like. It’s strictly personal preference, you won’t ruin anyone else’s enjoyment of the game because you want to play it a certain way.
Again, I think this should be a setting not enabled by default, and you should have to turn it on first. The game should ship as whole as possible, and if you want to turn off some aspects, you should be able to. I don’t see it as any different from games having a low/high gore setting.
Wait, common!?
Shoplifting isn’t happening because of capitalism.
It’s happening because the local government won’t prosecute the people that do shoplift
No. I can’t support being in a relationship with someone you don’t trust enough to HAVE to look through their phone. Same with the other way around. I have zero interest in combing through my partners phone, it’s their private device. If your partner wants to look through your phone, they’re telling you they don’t trust you. At that point, you have bigger problems
I agree, I made some leveling choices not fully understanding cantrips either.
Basically, what they are is a spell that doesn’t use your spell slots. So for example, wylls eltrich blast is a cantrip. You can cast it once per turn and it doesn’t cost any resources, just like a regular melee attack or ranged attack, it just uses your attack move that turn.
I do think a real pause would be beneficial, especially if you’re playing single player. I don’t see a reason not to add it.
With their stance on absolutely no microtransactions, this is a game that people should be supporting
I bought the game twice already, a copy for myself, and for someone else I know.
Tempmail go brrrr
I don’t have any reddit apps on my phone anymore.
If I go to reddit it’s through my browser with U-Block on, and I deleted my accounts so they gain nothing from me visiting.
I’m the same way now, I used to use reddit daily.
Now, I only use it when I have question, I still google “my question” reddit.
I don’t think ISP’s have any duty to prevent piracy, or anything else for that matter. Their business is providing internet to their customers, not policing each and every action
Wholesale customers buy in bulk. I’m sure the customer could get a discount for buying in bulk as well but they would end up spending way more money
I have 32 gigs of ram and this shit is going to make me switch to Linux as well.
I do not want an OS that demands half of my processing power just to run in the background. I see absolutely no reason for an OS to demand 2-4 gigs of ram, let alone up to 16
