PA isn’t the coldest, but I lived in two different places in PA that had heat pumps. I never had an issue in either place. They were awesome.

I’ve never actually had to roll a d4 on a table. Baldur’s Gate handles it for me.

Honestly I’m sure this is the best solution. I get that a d4 is the obvious choice for something that should have a 1/4 chance of happening but a d8 with 4 numbers twice would be the most appropriate.

The only downside I can see is that a d8 and a d8/4 would be easy to mix up at first glance.

I can’t speak to any of the newer litter robots as I have a LR1 and an LR2. The only issue I had was with the LR1. The hall effect sensor wore out and I was able to replace it with parts from their site.

I and many people I know swear by the litter robot. Off the top of my head I can think of 5 different households in my social circle with 1 or more litter robots.

For 4 cats you might want two litter robots as they tend to fill up quickly with multiple cats. Or set up the litter robot in addition to a traditional litter box so the cats can choose where to poop.

Just grab any of the single 18650 lights. Emisar D4V2, Zebralight, Lumintop, or any other brand. Some are better than others and there are advantages and disadvantages to each brand/model but they’re all awesome.

I’d rather just close the lid and have it not be dead the next time I open it. Sure I could do a proper shutdown if I know I’m done for the day, but in an office running from meeting to meeting that’s not always how things work out.
