I actually didnt know how to start the Jackett install from the guide I posted, so I just googled and tried following a guide. One of the first steps says sudo mkdir /home/ubuntu/jackett_config
I get a “No such file or directory”. Makes sense, ubuntu isn’t this user’s name. So I change it to point to “/home/user/jackett_config” and get the same result.
This is what usually stops me from proceeding further.
I’m actually diving into Linux and Docker for the first time right now, and the setup you described is exactly what I’m looking to do. But seeing as this is my first time. I was hoping I’d be able to get some confirmation of what my idea is or find faults with my setup.
In terms of hardware I have on-hand, I’ve got two laptops. One of which is a half-top, meaning it has no screen. The other is my daily driver. Both are running Linux Mint.
The half-top has 1TB of storage and would have Docker installed with Plex/Jellyfin, the *arr suite, and HomeAssistant. On my daily driver, I would be running Portainer or Heimdall to access everything and make changes within the half-top itself. I would also use this to access any of the media I have stored in the half-top.
Does that sound like everything would work?

Glad you’re OK, but definitely get as much as you can from the insurance. Drivers are REQUIRED to pay them hundreds each month for this reason. So make them pay up now that they are needed.

I take good care of my phones, so they physically last longer than the firmware does. I upgraded my Pixel 3a to a 7Pro because the 3a would start freezing, crashing apps, rebooting, etc, pretty much making it unusable for anything longer than a couple of phone calls or 15 minutes of internet/socials usage.
I imagine I’ll have this phone for like 4-5 years, fingers crossed.
Can I ask your setup? I’d like to get this for myself as well.

I never used Astarion, didn’t really care for him. So i got rid of him for something more useful (don’t want to spoil anything, and can’t figure out the spoiler tag on Boost)
I think a college student wizard would be fun to play. Maybe the DM will allow for elf-style rests in addition to tons of coffee.
Actually, reading through some of the other comments, someone mentioned an OpenBoard fork with swipe functionality and it’s actually working very well! Typing is responsive, prediction gets most of my words on the first go, and the backspace deletes the word instead of single letters (which is a preference I like).
Although Swype has been dead for quite a while now, that keyboard has been the best for swipe texting I’ve ever found. I tried Gboard, sucks. OpenBoard doesn’t have swipe functionality (that I’ve found), and am using AnySoft right now, with minimal success. I have to keep backspacing to retype words, or manually type them, sometimes my swipes don’t register into words, its just really annoying.
I wish someone would rebuild Swype so i could go back to it.

Same thing happens to me. My default setting is for Sync to open to my subbed instances, but when it opens to that, it says there are no posts. But if I go to any of those specific instances, all posts show up.
I’ve checked my settings numerous times. Nothing that filters, blocks, or even blurs NSFW content is enabled. I have no idea what’s the issue.

Docker installed great! Hello-World returns what it should. I reach problems whenever I try to do anything within Docker, like setting up AdGuard, Jackett, etc.
