I can’t see the name Crash and not think of the 1996 movie with James Spader. Which is weird as fuck.

I haven’t tried these so I cannot comment on their quality. But this has a list. Of particular note is RetroArch, OpenEMU, and Gens as three FOSS options.
Edit: Also, alternativeto.net is usually a decent source for finding alternatives for specific software. Here’s the list for Kega Fusion alternatives. This has some more options than the other link I provided.
When I set up mine, I created a separate /data mount point and drive for anything that I expect to keep between distros. The problem with keeping the home directory is that means all your personalized config files which may or may not apply to a new distro you switch to. I keep configs I want to keep in a git repo (like my i3 configs and scripts that I absolutely wouldn’t want to redo from scratch), data I want to keep in /data, and everything else can pretty much be wiped for a new distro on a whim without too much hassle.
I frequently have that problem with redgifs on the website too. Even when I go directly to redgifs. Just earlier today, I was browsing and more than half the gifs I was trying to view failed to load, or were very slow to load. I’ve been having this same problem with redgifs for as long as redgifs has been a thing. I don’t think the issue is with Sync, but with redgifs.
I just tried again now with JS enabled and my ad blocker enabled in Firefox, and it seems to be working ok now.
Whatever the reason, this appears to be fixed now.
Yes, as soon as I enabled JS I see the same behaviour. It seemed fine with JS disabled though, albeit with nothing showing in the sidebar.
It’s in contrast to something like LaTex or markdown, where you edit the syntax for formatting directly and don’t see the final result until you preview or save it.
Yeah, the look on Shadowheart’s face when she returns the gesture is perfect.
Unfortunately, as far as I know there is no single spoiler format that works across the fediverse. So no matter what people do here on lemmy, people accessing it via federation are out of luck.
Canada also has a strong cottage culture, where families will spend time in the summer at a cottage, or campground, or other, and they are often on lakes (we have so many lakes, they’re just everywhere, at least where people live.) I don’t specifically remember learning how to canoe, but I think it happened initially on a field trip with school when I was really young. That being said, not all Canadians know how to canoe. I had to teach a friend of mine how to properly paddle when canoeing solo because he had just never been taught. Ironically, it was his canoe we were using.
That fight is also a lot easier if you focus on using a heavy hitter with a bludgeoning weapon doing damage. I made judicious use of Sanctuary, and made sure any vulnerable characters were out of range. You can use ranged weapons to lure Grym and change its threat assessment.
I cast haste on Karlach, giving her 4 hits every turn. She’d do 60 - 90 damage each turn, then have shadowheart cast sanctuary. All while making sure everyone is out of range so grym can’t do much damage to anyone else out of frustration that he can’t target Karlach. Others still sometimes get knocked down due to his Quake spell, but I was able to make it through that fight on Tactician without anyone falling.
Be careful not to trigger a melee reaction though, since that will cause Grym to recalculate his target and can mess up the plan.
It’s unfortunately worse than that. Even with the correct spoiler tag some users will see it without it being hidden. Any service accessing lemmy, but is not lemmy. Such as kbin, doesn’t support lemmy spoilers. Then you have Sync which only currently supports reddit spoilers. There currently doesn’t exist a one-size fits all spoiler formatting option.
I’ve also seen this happen. When I tried the exact same save again, it worked fine. But I’ve also seen it where the last 2 saves were corrupt, but the previous wasn’t. I hit F5 like my life depends on it, so I almost always have like 3 saves for the last 15 minutes.
You use thieves tools every time you lockpick, but if you fail they break decreasing your supply by one. If you succeed, you may reuse the same thieves tools for the next lock.
You use thieves tools every time, but they break if you fail. That’s the easiest way to think about it. That message popping up doesn’t correspond with breaking a thieves tools in my experience. So you get the message, but the total available remains the same.
Yeah, unfortunately until the fediverse supports a single common scheme for spoilers there will always be this issue. Either that, or every single federated service on the fediverse has to support every other service’s spoiler formatting, which is unrealistic.
Spoilers are going to be hard unless the fediverse can agree on a common scheme for implementing them, unfortunately. Either that, or each federated service will have to honour the spoiler tags from all the others, and that’s unlikely.
As long as it continues to be sold on store shelves, it’s modern enough to count.
