I’ve seen it happen in a lot of smaller communities since July. /r/Subnautica, for example, used to be primarily memes and gameplay questions and was fairly low-traffic. Since July it’s been a steady stream of polls and “what’s your favorite” questions - low-effort posts that drive easy engagement.
Same here, just unsubscribed. Issues like this speak to a larger cultural issue within an organization, and Linus leading such an organization says a lot about him.
I don’t get it. The first time I tuned into his stream he was screaming at his raid and being a complete ass in his disgusting neckbeard nest. Same thing the next few times I got curious enough to turn his stream on. At no point in time did he ever appear to not be a giant steaming pile of shit.
