Imo top quoting, where the reply is added to the bottom of for example an email, is far superior to bottom quoting, where the reply is on top.
With top quoting you can read the entire thread/discourse in order by reading the latest email top to bottom, instead of scrolling up and down.
However, since most people and email clients default to bottom quoting, I’ll have to stick to that. The only thing worse than bottom quoting is inconsistent quoting.

It’ probably one of the most used optional rules, but it is one. It is a lot of fun to have that nat 20 turn a hairy situation around :)

I haven’t gotten around to doing an evil playthrough after launch, but from EA I recall Minthara being recruited to your camp after destroying the grove and succeeding some dialog checks during the next camp section. As far as I can tell, it shouldn’t matter which path you take after this, as the paths to moonrise come after attacking the grove and recruiting her.
Since I haven’t tried this after launch there may be some further checks for her to become a componian rather than just a camp follower that I don’t know about, but destroying the grove and passing the subsequent dialog checks to convince her you’re on the same side should be sufficient.
