RPG@lemmy.ml•What's your opinion on fixed damage vs rolling for damage?English
3·11 days agoI prefer fix damage tie with your roll. Like Shadowrun 4 does, I find that it’s easier on combat heavy game
However I’ve recently GMed a Slugblaster one shot and inflicting a improvised damage called « low battery » on one of my players was a lot of fun

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Have you ever been excluded by peers in after work activities or just been excluded by people in times making you feel isolated? How did you deal with those emotions?
5·27 days agoIn retrospect
The hardest part was before. Before something click and I understand what was happening, it wrecked my mental health.
After however, maybe I had pink googles, things were easier. People less assholey and I think genuinely happy to have me in their workforce

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How would you calm down somebody if neither of you speaks the other’s language?
15·1 month agoI have been in a couple of critical situations and the only suggestion I remember each time from my first aid course is : preach by example. If you’re calm and confident people will calm down.
« Ok » and thumbs up are a well established symbol too

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Are you still friends with any of your exes?
81·3 months agoYes but we’re not « good » friends. We saw each other occasionally at best
In your situation I’ll say give it 2-4 years before becoming friend with your ex
Tap for spoiler
I cast « stop resisting »

RPGMemes @ttrpg.network•[Question] What kind of hangar do my players need to park their elemental planes?
20·3 months agoDepend on the elements
If it’s a wind elemental plane I’ll say not a hay hangar or wood hangar but a brick hangar might work
That’s good advice. I’ll tried to remember the saying
A Mom’s friend of mine had a saying which was (translated) : we eat shit according to our appetite
Gaming is not the answer
You cannot be the one to do the job for two persons in a relationship
Also I suggest that you take an appointment with a shrink

Already have Calibre, I was more searching on the social side of things.
