RPG@lemmy.ml•Looking for Urban Fantasy System.English
3·27 days agoFor Buffy I’ll go D20 modern or DnD 5 Ultramodern. I feel that DnD work well for Buffy
If you want something more low on rules I’ll try Neon City Overdrive/Tomorrow City or Slugblaster with a new veneer (if you want to play out family drama)

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•In your language, how do you describe butch and femme lesbians?
2·29 days agoHa yes I’ve heard this one. Thanks for pointing my mistake
So enby : non-binaire, une personne non-binaire
Butch would be the same but we use (and prefer) lesbienne

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•In your language, how do you describe butch and femme lesbians?
1·29 days agoIn Québécois French :
Butch : enby (I guess, but I’m not sure)
Lesbienne: lesbians
Not sure what is Femme so I will not pronounce myself.
Since with not that far from New York and Montreal is (was ?) a big sanctuary city we used mostly (American) English terms in vernacular French

Technology@beehaw.org•Tech companies are cutting jobs and betting on AI. The payoff is far from guaranteed
12·1 month agoThey don’t care. The payoff is putting tech workers in a bind and when they’ll have to re-hire them they will do so at lesser salaries.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is your preferred political ideology, and why?
2·2 months agoBecause all Libertarians experience that have been made turns out to be scams to swindle money out of gullible middle class people.
The fact that hardcore Libertarians tend to be pro-contract slavery, pro weird pedophilia views and against environmental protection.
All in all, Libertarianism is inherently flawed and lead to a kind of facism or contract feudalism. It only reproduces ways of control that it tried/say it want to abolish

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What is your preferred political ideology, and why?
81·2 months agoLibertarian and Liberal are not the same thing
And there’s nothing normal about Libertarians 😅
Me myself I’m so woke that my liberal neighbours watch under their beds for fear that I will shiv them in the night
I’ve seen some pretty cool results with DIY smartwatches… but other than that I don’t know
