I’m reminding of the humorous attempts to build a bear proof trash can. Ends up a bear proof trash can is also human proof for some humans.

I’ve used a bunch of different wear os watches and the pixel watch 1 is my favorite… barely. Not a huge fan of the style but the comfort is tops. I use the watch for running frequently. Worked great for tracking runs while streaming music to Bluetooth earbuds.

Battery life is ok. Not great but not bad enough for me to feel restricted.

The software is wear os. Which, afaict, is not the same level of quality as apple’s watch. I definitely miss notifications for no explanable reason on a rare occasion. Still, weird and unexpected.

8/10 - really very comfortable and overall great. Would get another.

Very stiff and no real padding. So all the force is being transferred I’d presume. I’m thinking this chonky phone is fairly tough for that kinda stuff… I hope anyways

I previously used Arch. Hard to beat! The declarative aspect of NixOS got me in the end. Arch was really flexible tho.

Also, the Arch wiki is still the best reference. :)

The cool aid is definitely a commitment. The language, overall, is pretty interesting but… Was there something in that cool aid? Good a nice tang to it …
