Yeah, we have in place ways to deal with pedophiles. But those with power have means to circumvent it. Take away their power, and they’d be treated like the rest of the pedophiles. The bigger problem is their power.

Are there really people who would turn on them if they’re pedophiles but not if they’re fucking all of us? Seems the later would be easier to convince people of.

The kid raping seems like a symptom of their power, not an independent disease. Cure them of that, and they won’t be able to get away with hurting people.

Authors could sign their work digitally. PGP wouldn’t prevent them from lying about using AI, but they could build up a reputation for not using AI, and people could verify it was the author’s creation.

So maybe not great, just good.
