In my experience if you’re only finding one or two apartments in your price range out of a ton…

1. You can’t afford to live there. Everything costs more. Sales tax, gas, groceries, water, all entertainment, etc

2. Those places you can afford probably don’t exist or are cheap for a very good reason (bad area/property)

I suggest looking around closer to you or where you have a saftey net or support, then look in those areas. Research the city look for lgbtq events or clubs etc. I hope you find your little haven !

I’m sorry this is so off topic to the community but this meme reminded me how much I hate that advice. What if I only want sex too?! It didn’t prepare me for ANYTHING. It treats teenagers like one dimensional objects where girls only want romance and commitment and guys only want sex and will behave like a movie villian to get it. That’s actually my brother’s age range. And yeah I guess I was so drawn to this because it’s potential for a common interest and shared experience! But I think based on all this it would be best if I played it first and wait until next year to consider it as a gift when I have full context of adult themes.

Check out bunheads. Same creator and I remember it feeling a LOT like that show. Like she must have done it so soon after Gilmore girls. It’s only a season but it was cute. It might still be on hulu.

And this is why the dnd movie was so great, it took stories like this and wove them in to the main story, sometimes it contributed to the momentemum and sometimes it was just this like… dumb thing that accomplished nothing! I loved that! Damn I am ready for that to be our “next cinematic universe” and take a break from super heros. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy those too and usually it’s always at least a good time. I think audiences need the break though and a good cliffhanger with intrigue along with it.

Lots of experience here. For future reference or anyone reading.

Milkshakes. Eat them with a spoon if you aren’t allowed to use a straw. If you find you’re sensitive you could always ask for less numbing. They might have gone above the minimum to be safe and ensure you’re comfortable.

It would wear off pretty quick for me though my appointment might be an hour and would be gone after 3 hours. And I was able to function mostly normally even while numb. I would smile a lot in the mirror too cuz the crooked smile was amusing. Eventually even that wasn’t crooked anymore after so many appointments.

Yeah those are the type of things that build that trust. It’s just most of us don’t have a single moment I guess.

I build trust also by observing how someone treatsothers, especially how they behave and treat someone when they have a conflict. And is there genuine remorse for mistakes that caused any harm. (Obviously not the kind of mistakes that would ruin trust but like, normal accidental hurting others type mistakes we all make unintentionally now and then)

What types of pranks have you played on eachother? I think that would be helpful for gauging her sense of humor!

Harmless stuff that won’t bring bad blood would be things like putting plain yogurt into a sour cream container and have her see you eat from it straight.

Oh if she has light hair definitely don’t do any of thr shower food dye stuff cuz it might temporarily change the color and she will have to tell every coworker and person that asks what you did.
