You can probably throw together a pretty simple wordpress website without much knowledge. Just keep it mostly out of the box, maybe change the theme.
You know cans are just plastic sacs using the tin/aluminum for structure right?
I’m not saying AI can’t be disruptive. I’m saying we aren’t there. The steady progress you think you are seeing is bought with increased processing power, the science isn’t advancing steadily, it advances in unpredictable jumps. Because the performance gained with processing power is reaching its peak, we’ll need at least another one of those unpredictable jumps for it to get to a state that will do what the comment I was responding to was claiming. It could be another 50 years before that happens, or it could be tomorrow.
The current AI boom is all based on a single paper from about 7 years ago, and has been achieved by just throwing more and more computing power at it. There has been basically no meaningful architecture improvements in that time and we are already seeing substantial fall off from throwing more power at the problem. I don’t think its a given at all that we are close to the kind of disruption you are predicting.
Science tells us how to achieve objectives, democracy what our objectives should be. (obviously this doesn’t always work perfectly in practice).
I mostly disagree. It takes away a feeling of agency even if its still random at the end of the day. Just trust your players not to meta game. There are exceptions when it would be hard for the player to still get the intended experience when not meta gaming; but leaving the existence of that experience up to a roll in the first place is probably whats at fault.
volunteer mods allow things like The Donald to exist.
Going to read the article now, but before doing so I’m wondering if they controlled for the fact that safer seats are more likely to be in a position to take stronger positions on it, or might be forced to take stronger positions on it because the primary threat is during the primary.
Its basically also the past right? RSS feeds.
As a dev, I’ll generally try and act on things in the order I think is best, (Or I’m told is best in projects I’m not heading) but someone being annoying about a ticket in a foss project is easily the quickest way to get me to put an issue towards the bottom of whatever priority stack its in.
I’m pretty sure I’d starve to death in at most a year, if something else didn’t get me first.
The variant human does, base human gets +1 to all 6 stats compared to +3 divided in some way that the others get (almost always in a 2/1 split).
The nature of quantum interactions being probabilistic could be some resource saving mechanism in a higher order simulation.

Laws depend on where you live, but in plenty of places its more or less completely legal to download pirated files, its almost universally illegal to upload them, when torrenting you are doing both.
If it succeeds, apple will pave the way, and then other options will emerge much like has happened with smartphones. There will be some FOSS version perfectly capable of blocking ads.
You have no idea what you’re talking about.
I just accepted I’m not getting the information now; but a whole bunch of small creators will basically only talk about their content and schedule on twitter. Like if something is going to be late, they are going on vacation or they are doing an extra stream or etc.
