Very impressive.
When will this service be forced to change or shut down? I think five years. Possibly less if a major case hits the news where a bad actor used the service.

Interesting because the article says the ZIP code is required for tax purposes
Maybe the owner is outside of the US, maybe it’s OK?

Has any of this changed in the last three years?:
![eremeya • 3y ago [--] I have set up Mint, T-Mobile prepaid, att prepaid, and cricket accounts without using personal info. If you're worried about being IDed with a camera during checkout? A nice, floppy hat from a thrift store might help. And don't forget a nice, large mask! COVID is still around! Upvote 3 Downvote [deleted] • 3y ago [--] There’s a minimart near me who still does phone PINs from a card terminal, they even have MVNOs like AMP’d mobile and other defunct ones in there. No cameras, no security besides bars on the doors and windows. I suspect the owner has some ‘personal security’ under the counter, so he doesn’t care much to add cameras. I go there because I can get every prepaid PIN under the sun and there’s never a line, not because of the anonymity though.](https://sh.itjust.works/pictrs/image/9e58aba9-7dbf-47af-bf7d-7c35952b2710.jpeg)

Maybe OC

Ya I don’t think folks need to be called out twice in a row in two different places. This would be a pathway for repeat offenders who refuse to acknowledge feedback perhaps?

Chalk-free edit, thanks @dan1101@lemmy.world
Probably < choke v. + full adj. (with an underlying sense ‘full to the point of choking’), in later use (especially in α forms) probably reinforced by association with chock n.1 and chock v.1

Charottez chokkefull charegyde with golde, yadadamean?

Thank you – I will be less frustrated next time I scroll through the iOS App Store change logs.

Hmm is that illegal (missing unsub link) in this case?
Pawn shops may have locked doors that someone behind the counter has to trigger to open.
Went to one once (California) and think they said the fire chief had approved the system. Quick search shows perhaps that’s plausible.

Right on & what a coast it is!

(not parent commenter) May I word-nerd with you OP? Nice post btw.
OK with your permission, which region? & I believe -
You have a sweet new setup. A sweet new nginix setup! You spent time getting nginix set up. Now you can say you finally set up nginix as a reverse proxy. You’re proud of the setup.
Tangentially, this reminds me of some advice I read on whole home water filters. Get this one or get that one. but get it from a local business who’s been in your area for years and years. You will have a problem with it. You are going to need someone to call. And they say, just plan for that from the start.
