I have had the opposite experience. My mosfets died O think the control circuitery on my btt skr mini e3 v2 so I decided to control them externally with a pico ordered it from aliexpress it showed up then it died. Later I bought a genuine pico and it also died… That’s how my printer isn’t working for 27 days straight.

I started with it I think it’s easy but I have seen horror stories about petg with glass beds for petg I would recommend g10 I ordered mine from germany because at the time the only g10 in lithuania was too small. And I got a biscuit with the g10 :D

I would recommend bazzite as although it is gaming orientated it has nvidia version, is hard to break and by default uses KDE the same desktop enviroment juxtopposed used. But for the editing software I can’t help with that maybe winboat would work.?

For me GrayJay feels more polished and intuitive, it also supports multiple platforms, sponsorblock (you have to use a newpipe fork if you want that on newpipe), basically just install both and try them out see which one you prefer. For me it has replaced the official youtube app.

GrayJay also works if newpipe you don’t like newpipe.

I am using opensuse but it is hard to build monado or openhmd with it necause some packages you need to get from fedora because they dont exist or have a version tag with _SUSE which makes it not see that the package is there. I would recommend something more mainstream: Arch, fedora, debian and etc. But bazzite should work I think I succeefully ran my rift on it for a little bit.
