Still using my 2014/2015 model thinkpad (bought used in 2019), still feels brand new.
Durability is the game, and since they’re usually for work/ bought by a company for the whole office they are usually taken care of when bought used.

is this a US thing? I don’t think we have these in our country.
somebody said try your local library (this is probably a US thing)
what does this do?
it’s not a priority right now, maybe when I get extra money.
I’m looking forward to it though
A 3D Printer, I think I’d enjoy making small “functional” things.
I tried this mindfulness thing a few times, and just can’t seem to get the hang of it.
Does the voice in your head distract you?
yeah, but don’t I get a penalty if I invite someone that would have a bad ratio?
I have some free invites to some private servers as well (mainly BakaBT for anime/manga stuff and MyAnonamouse for anything books)
But inviting someone that wouldn’t have a good ratio is bad, right?
I’m trying to remember where you got this quote.
West Wing?
you know the starting letter, do you know how many letters it has?
I’ve had my hydro flask copycat for more than a year now. I’m happy with it.
is there something similar but has expandable storage (headphone jack would be a bonus).
Definitely, 10k usd in my country is enough for a down payment for a house. I can get by with free books with no problem (I already read books anyways). I’d miss watching shows, reading manga, and other things but there are tons of paid --> free stuff out there.
Maybe OP thought that the car chase happened so that they can make an ad for Chevrolet. (Which could be true, and I think had happened to other movies.)
But I think what usually happens is the car chase is already in the script and the production reached out to car brands that are interested in sponsoring the movie. Then adding some glorious shots where the brand is obviously visible and the center of focus to accomplish the advertisement and gain revenue.
maybe it was when the mom rescued Barbie from the board of directors?
On average, about 5hrs a day. 2hrs on a slow day and 7hrs on a fast day.
maybe intentions behind the action rather than the perception of the action itself.
An extreme example would be in the latest episode of My Adventures with Superman (great show, slight spoilers), Superman saves an invisible man from getting hit from a truck by stopping the truck and causing a traffic accident.
The intention was to save a guy, the perception of the people was that he caused an accident for no reason (because the guy he saved was invisible).
Not sure if it’s deja vu, but sometimes I’ve get some dreams where I think I’ve dreamt it before. Before I can confidently say that I’ve actually dreamt it before, but now I’m not sure.
So whenever this happens now and I’m aware of it, I’m in this weird state where I don’t know what to feel.
