I don’t think I could disagree more. I use both and listening to music and watching videos are entirely different activities for me and I want the apps to do different things in different ways.

It probably depends on your instance, but if I go to everything and sort by active, there are a bunch of posts at the top with hundreds of comments. On Lemmy it’s way more normal to comment on a post that’s a couple days old than it has been on Reddit for almost a decade.

The only streaming service I’ve ever paid for was vrv/seeso because I would comit violent crimes to get another season of HarmonQuest or the My Brother, My Brother, and Me TV show.

I switched when they added tabs in version 1.5 (I think) and it’s pretty much the only browser I’ve seriously used since.

I’m guessing because OP was lying about his interaction with hexbear and their removed comments as well as that post were posted as a screenshot to hexbear. There was probably a huge flood of hexbear comments calling them out and the mods figured it would be easier to just remove the post.
