My local B league hockey team does discount nights with cheap seats and cheap options for beer/soft drinks and snacks. My wife and I will get tickets, have a few drinks and snacks and spend a total of maybe a little over $20. Even on full price nights it’s maybe $50 for the same.

Plus there’s the fights that almost always break out. Or, as the saying goes, there was a fight and a hockey game broke out.

This isn’t a place for the broad public though. I live in a place that is 75% conservatives and they are not welcome here. It doesn’t work both ways. Either you stay what you are and grow very slowly, or you allow different thoughts. It won’t happen, but Lemmy would quickly outgrow it’s current capacity if it did.

Yeah my 15yo son is running an early i7 with DDR3 and a 1660ti at 1080/60 and he plays Roblox and chats with his friends on Discord, watches YouTube. He doesn’t care about upgrades at all and never spends money or buys games or anything.
