I think you are generalizing too much.
As someone who switched from npp to Kate in the past year and change, I think npp is way better out of the box. Kate is like a multitool that you need to tweak a lot.
I really should have added that /j, eh?
Good one.
Kubrick can make good movies.

I think the store and the library search sucks on EGS. You can’t even tell what games you have purchased and for what platform (pc/ios/android). Best you have is the purchase history on their website and app.
I use Heroic Launcher (on Arch btw and Bazzite for kids) and that luckily works really well for displaying games that you have bought on PC. But there’s no such alternative for iOS or Android, and even Heroic doesn’t show you what games there are in your library for mobile.

Well don’t leave us hanging. Tell us more!

I think the real atrocity is the inability to properly search on titles that you actually purchased, free or not. At least on Linux I have Heroic to list all games. But on IOS and Android you have to wade through shit or go based on your purchase history to find the titles among the free with in-app purchase shit.

Heroic Launcher.

So what is best practice?

I’ve used Arch-Installer on my desktop after two failed manual attempts on a laptop. And then dove in head first for the rest.
Én memóriára cseréltem!
Can you describe what you get out if it?
On my arch install, all I have is vmlinuz-linux under /boot. How come there’s no further information appended like in the article?
Are you talking about scaling monitors at a different rate in a multi monitor setup? I thought they’ve fixed that.

This can happen if lettermail is exclusive to be delivered by the country’s postal services but the vendor is using a courier.

tbh I looked at audio jacks in internals, and they do usually have double the footprint on a pcb than what you see outside of it, at least on low end consumer devices:

That’s not to say that they couldn’t put anything more compact in a highend device like a smart phone.
I think they mean that they simply won’t Id themselves / stop using the platform.
