Don’t disagree but surely it’s not impossible to add some regulations to protect the consumers here.

Im not saying that didn’t happen but it’s very surprising, I never experienced that in Seattle. In Seattle academia/institutions, theu usually doubled down on diversity rhetoric, and I’ve yet to see anyone push back on it.
What city were you in?
This is blatantly false and borderline fear mongering.
Work: MS teams if it’s internal or the client uses teams. Zoom typically if they don’t. Slack for on demand calls.
Home: what’s app video calls.
Wow, that’s news to me. I didn’t realize it had gone so far in some places.
Who uses bad Internet intentionally? I’ve been waiting 20 years for a different service.
Whatsapp is just a text service that gained popularity because it bypassed expensive text messaging rates, and it’s superior to SMS in most ways anyways. If meta starts charging people will go somewhere else. It’s odd to hear this take that people are somehow dependant on it. It’s more replaceable than a pair of shoes.
My ex has one. She used it half folded to prop it up to take pictures. That’s come in handy quite a bit actually. Also I like that you can close the phone to hang up calls. Sometimes I have to navigate back to the call app to hang up and it just feels ridiculous how hanging up is a multi step process if the call app isn’t open. Lastly, pocket space, I prefer the folded phone than a full sized.
I likely won’t get one for the same reason as you.
I liked it. Unfortunately aside from valve, no serious studio has put any resources into making a good vr game.
Sitting games could be big on vr. Flight/space sims could be awesome.
