Duno i dont even think about reddit anymore. I just enjoy beeing able to post in comunitys that have actuall working moderation instead of side wide mods that dont get niche cultural refferrences.

i will never trust a company that had so much investor money on hand to run such a massivr ad campain like Nord did.

It was missleading, agressive and anoying.

The pressure behind that ad campaim kind made me feel like the whole thing was just the biggest honeypot we have ever seen.

Well germany has this thing called “bürgergeld” aka citizen money, it covers rent, healthcare + about 500euros for food and stuff.

Once a year u get hussled by the agency that pays it to ‘get a job or provide reason why u cant’.

And well one reason can be, that u have mental problems. In fact not wanting to work can be considered a mental problem by some.

Just treat the thing as a very low universal basic income, with the catch that u only get it if u become ‘sick’ by societys definition.

i bet there are a few new chinese gov backdoors in it too…

i am quite sure such programs allready exists for a long time.

everything you do on servers owned by american companys will get u scored.

the nsa has a folder for allmost every human who ever used the internet, and doing certain things will rank u up in score.

Once your score reaches a critical high, human may check your folder to see if u are just a courios child searching for diy fireworks or a potential terrorist.

If that human sees the remote chance that u are the second type, they then keep close taps on you.

And if they see u buying sketchy shit then may come to your door to check up on you.

Google once had the motto: “dont be evil”.

well get a HDMI to AV adapter, a AV to usb adapter, and 2 VHS recorders. first record the movie from hdmi to VHS and then copy VHS to VHS a few times till the quality goes down.

used hardware for this should be around 30$ or cheaper…or you could just use a video editor and add the VHS effect but that dosent look as good as true analog noise
