I wish I could do this, but where I live I just can’t find a laptop with a good amd gpu (I live in Brazil), so I’m locked to nvidia :/
What can we do to help?
going full open source 😎
Try scanning the libraries again as other users already pointed out, this works for me every time I add a new media.
No. I’m from Brazil and I really wanted to contribute to Brazilian developers, because my currency is nothing next to the euro or dollar, so I think: what’s the point? I can donate a considerable amount and that would be like 5€, I want to make a bigger impact.
I also really want to see some project or developer from my country grow, but I just can’t never find anything that came from here.
awesome!!
I think it’s okay to check what the app is going to access in your system. I’m just talking about the warning design, this comment suggests a different approach for a less alarming design.
I think they should just follow the example of every other app store; list the permissions in an easily understandable list and let the user decide whether or not they are comfortable with it.
Totally agree. The “verified” label will give new users enough comfort, and the ones who wish to know more will read the permissions.
It’s not specific to browsers, but to every flatpak that is verified and has the potentially unsafe warning.
thank you very much for the tip, I used chat gpt and it helped me to guarantee the right permissions, I can now connect to the web ui but I’m not getting “We’re unable to connect to the selected server right now. Please ensure it is running and try again.”
The only true answer
What about signal?
the devices would have to be degoogled so that the app can gather the necessary information? I never used google fit, so I don’t know how it works nor how it gathers the user information.
hahaha, I didn’t even noticed their votes
