I like how it supports animated webp and gift files right out of the box. Would be perfect if you could open images from the file manager and navigate, but it doesn’t look like that’s in the works.

Can you open animated gifs in imv? I just get a black screen, but the home page says animated gifs are supported.
Doesn’t look like Hyperion is open source :(
Until there’s a FOSS version of Nova, I guess I’ll keep using Nova and have my firewall block its outgoing traffic.
Nova launcher - there isn’t a good one for one FOSS replacement. Every launcher I tried from fdroid has at least one shortcoming (if not more).
Thanks for the suggestions. Do the IKEA bulbs work with HA out of the box or do they need an IKEA app?
It is plugged directly into my HA server. I’ll try adding an extension cable, since i haven’t tried that yet. But if it’s a matter of reception, it seems odd that it’s isolated to the Aqara devices.
Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate the tip.
The TitanX was always power hungry. Shortly after it was released, Nvidia released better GPUs and they got some criticism for the TitanX branding considering the newer cards were faster and ran cooler. I was disappointed because the newer cards came out a couple months after I picked up the TitanX.
Thank you for the suggestions. I’ll add these to my Christmas wish list.
Based on these threads from Reddit, the HA community, and github, it looks like it’s very hit and miss.
App - Thunder FTW
I really enjoy the double action swiping to up/down vote or to favorite/reply. Also, you can save your favorite default filter for the main feed.
Sounds interesting, but the requirements say it needs gnome-desktop. I’m using Hyprland on NixOS, so it doesn’t sound like this will work for my setup unfortunately. Thank you for the suggestion. Hopefully this helps others.
