Not sure it fits the niche definition, maybe not by subs count, but by topic I’d say it does.
We need a clone for that site, maybe find a way to torrent all those apks. Right now that’s a single point of failure, and it’s not like they OWN that content, right?
My hopes for RISC V are higher than I like to admit.
I really hope it goes mainstream and gives us ARM benefits with the open nature awesomeness

Was gonna say this. Why TF is list not -l as…everywhere else?
Thanks!
Yeah I forgot to mention that I’m already living the self hosted life, I got a small home server with the arr suite, jellyfin and a few other containers.
Didn’t know about syncthing, I’ll definitely check it out. Same for GoneMad 👍🏻
Thanks again!
Doesn’t solve the offline mode/taking a 13 hour flight use case, unfortunately.
Could someone kindly ELI5 how to lidarr-ize my liked tracks from Spotify, please?
My collection there is quite static and I think I’m a good candidate to go MP3/AAC/whatever 🏴☠️ plus Spotify free just to keep up to date with newly released singles/albums from time to time.
Thanks!
P.S. also what comes after would be great, i.e. how I can batch transfer all those files from my home server running lidarr to my Android phone/PC and keep them in sync after the initial transfer. Plus also a nice feature rich Android app, either free (no ads) or even better open source with an accessible price.
Same in Italy
Thanks, captain Obvious
For sure it’s not, but let’s reckon that you’re in a privileged situation. I think we are talking average Joe here, and I think that Euro-Joe beats US-Joe hands down in the paid leave department.
I buy aluminum exclusively, no plastic.
Plastic doesn’t age well and isn’t as recyclable.
Yes, Italy, 36 (since I’m 18).
Not author of the comment here, but I’ve lived in Italy and France and also never had a full month off since my school days.
But it’s because of my personal choice to avoid spending all my unpaid leave in one go (and in the most expensive and crowded time of the year, too). Not for the lack of that possibility.
I’m European and the title made me chuckle a bit.
I upvoted one of the most upvoted comments by a fellow Euro person saying that basically no one here does that (when I say no one, I mean statistically. Maybe 1 in 10k people does).
The point tho, is that you technically could.
And even if you don’t take the entire month off in one go, you still have around 4 or 5 weeks paid leave over a year, which is much better than most of the places in the US, from what I hear.
It was just to say “this lasts so long there’s no justification for it being a GIF”.
A GIF should be 5 seconds tops and be showing content you never may want to pause. How can I check the exact moment the person falls in the flood, if I can’t pause?
That’s my rule of thumb but over the years reddit somehow became fond of GIFs where it doesn’t make any effing sense, let’s stop the madness.
My 16GB XPS running Linux almost fills up entirely when running several docker containers, IDEA, Firefox, Teams, Postman and a few other, smaller apps, but it fits still, and I can work with it (tho I can’t wait to get my 32GB framework laptop)
Now gimme a 8GB MBP and I’ll show you that I wouldn’t get shit done on that configuration. And at 1600 it’s just crazy.
