8·7 months agoI would expect the pirate faction to intervene in EU parliement? Fediverse servers should be such a tiny fraction of overall EU server costs that this should not be a problem at all…
71·10 months agoWould that factor in the [unknown] costs of that revenue? Running all the servers (incl youtube), offices and staff aint cheap. So more likely some is paying enough to leave 23USD on top of massive costs.

But if I understand OPs point correctly Thunder doesn’t seem to do that. As a matter of fact, at least by default, it doesent even compact the same posts.
And yeah, missing out on being able to see comments from multiple threads (hopefully with a noticibly marked community context, so its not lost) is really missing out on the possibilities given by fedi.
