I didn’t get through all 7 levels, but I agree with pretty much everything you say here based on my experience with the few I did play.
It’s disappointing, but I guess I’m not too surprised at the result. The fact that I had been playing Baldurs Gate 3 when this was released perhaps made it such a jarring comparison. Going from such a well designed and well built game, and then coming to timekeepers was just insane. That’s probably unfair given the teams and budgets involved, but these days you can’t just make garbage and expect it to do well.
Pretty similar for me, almost disappointed I haven’t gotten one in a while. It’s funny to waste their time, and get them all worked up lol.

Odd, I thought the gameplay was bland and somewhat repetitive, while the world, voice acting, and story kept me coming back.
