  • My experience moving from the 6 pro to the 8 pro wasn’t some sort of magical fantastical generational leap, however it addressed basically every single gripe I had with the 6 pro. The battery is MUCH better. The screen is much better, it’s smoother, and the camera is still fantastic. The screen is also flat, not curved, so screen protectors fit much better. I just wish we still had a hardware fingerprint reader like before the 6 pro. That being said, the camera supporting face unlock is fantastic for my home and work apps.

Absolutely solid upgrade and I would do it again if I had the chance.

  • Eh, they seem fine, maybe an improvement in bass response over my pixel 6 pro. They aren’t knock-your-socks-off better, but they’re decent. Pixel 6 pro had decent ones also, so definitely a bit of an improvement.

Edit - just tried them in Netflix vs YouTube which is what I tested prior to replying to you. Netflix is MUCH louder than YouTube for some reason. Definitely louder and more dynamic range than the 6 pro.
