So if Bestbuy asked Slick Rick and his boys from da hood to deliver the item and it got stolen by the boys, Bestbuy would be 100% off the hook?

This is a setting on your bluetooth device, not on your phone. My Soundboks-speaker for instance does re-connect to my Pixel 5 and it has a setting specifically for that.
